Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in San Bernardino, California. Working plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
**As of August 11, 2023. Project is cancelled. No definite date for the rebid.** Contractor agrees to provide to California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Right of Way Demolition and Clearance, Billboard Removal and Water Pollution Control Program (WPCP) services and implementation of said Plan(s) . Scope of Work 1. Contractor agrees to provide to California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Right of Way Demolition and Clearance, Billboard Removal and development and implementation of Water Pollution Control Programs (WPCP) as described herein: A. Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, parts, supplies, permits, materials, and incidentals necessary to remove and demolish real property, crushing of improvements, walls, fencing, concrete, and billboard signs, and develop and implement any necessary WPCPs. The work shall be done in accordance with all city and county codes/regulations. The property is to be demolished and removed out of Caltrans right of way. B. The work to be done in general consists of demolishing and removing billboard structures, and footings located in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. All demolition work will include removal and legal disposal of all demo debris and demo waste, billboards, signposts, block wall, wood fence, chain link fence, trash, vegetation, trees, bushes, shrubs, concrete, asphalt, cinder block wall, electrical line removal, sandbags, fiber rolls, curbing all other materials created from their work from the work site. All debris must be removed and any necessary WPCPs shall be provided, as set forth herein and under the review and approval of Caltrans Contract Manager. C. Caltrans does not guarantee that any of the described improvements scheduled for demolition and removal are constructed of the materials as listed in this Agreement or that they conform in any other described manner. Unless specifically stated otherwise in this Agreement, Caltrans assumes no responsibility for conditions not evident at the time of bid opening nor for subsequent change or damage of any nature to the improvements not within the control of Caltrans. This Agreement will commence on July 18, 2023 (estimate) or upon approval by Caltrans, whichever is later, and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement is of no effect unless approved by Caltrans. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by Caltrans Contract Manager.
