Dakota County is seeking quotes from qualified contractors to install c-lock hardware at the Western Service Center courtroom in Apple Valley. Dakota County reserves the right to reject any or all Quotations, to waive any informality or irregularity in any Quotation received and to accept any alternate (if applicable) in any order or combination. If awarded the Contract, the undersigned agrees to execute an agreement within the specified time for the above stated compensation. Dakota County reserves the right to make the final determination of whether data identified as confidential trade secret by a Responder falls within the trade secret exemption in the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act. SCOPE OF WORK This project includes: o Hardware: Von Duprin Delayed Egress Chexit Device 10B - 3' w/Electrified 07 trim 10B and Copper Colored 4.5" x 4.5" 8 wire power transfer hinge and Primus LFIC cores and housings 10B Dakota County Staff Responsibilities o Provide the contractor access to the facility to replace the doors o Provide a walkthrough if needed o Approve hardware selected by the contractor o Provide the contractor with any requested documents that are available Contractor Responsibilities o Gather all necessary construction permits o Keep a consistent visual aesthetic of the hardware in the building o Provide a point of contact for scheduling construction dates and times o Dakota will be using other contractors for parts of this project o Minimize disruption to the courts which will remain open during this work o Coordinate with the project manager and Sheriff's when this work will be happening o Weekend/Overnight/Holiday/Early Morning work is allowed and encouraged o Repair, replace, or otherwise correct deficient materials and workmanship without additional cost to the owner o Follow all county guidelines for contractors
