Site work for a water / sewer project in Aurora, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Location: Mountain St., McClure Rd., and Austin Ave. between Sheffer Rd & Forest Ave Proposed Improvement: Installation of 1362 LF of 8", and 895 LF of 12" ductile iron water main and other miscellaneous appurtenances all in accordance with the plans and specifications. The City of Aurora has a local preference ordinance that would apply to this contract The City encourages minority business firms to submit proposals and encourages the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as subcontractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction. Prequalification of Bidders as contained in Check Sheet LRS6 in the "Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions" is required on this project. All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty as outlined in the Proposal form. All questions should be received by the Purchasing Division by 4 pm Friday June 23rd, 2023 so that an addendum can be issued Monday June 26th, 2023 if required. All questions received after Friday will not be addressed.
