The City of Dania Beach, Florida, is actively seeking bids from qualified Contractors for Purchase and Installation of Lift Station Pumps, ITB 23-009. The City is seeking a qualified Contractor for the acquisition and installation of pumps at three of the Citys lift stations. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, and equipment to furnish and install submersible pumps at lift stations 3, 5 and 8. A pre-bid conference will not be held. All bid prices shall be guaranteed firm for a minimum of one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after the submission of the bid. No bidder may withdraw a bid within ninety (90) calendar days after the bid opening date. Pursuant to Florida law, all Bids are exempt public records until thirty (30) days after opening, or award of bid, whichever is sooner. In the event presentations are necessary, all non-presenting 5 bidders will be required to exit the room during the presentations of each of the other bidders as portions of selection committee meetings at which presentations are made are exempt from Floridas public meeting laws. A certified check, cashiers check, bank officers check, or bid bond for Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00), made payable to the City of Dania Beach shall accompany each proposal. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately after the submission deadline on the Bid due date referenced above using Ring Central meeting software, in the presence of the City Clerk or designee on the above stated date. Award of a contract will be made at a subsequent City Commission meeting. All bidders are advised that the City has not authorized the use of the City seal by individuals or entities responding to City bids. Bidders shall demonstrate successful performance of projects of a similar magnitude, scope and value as this project. The City Commission of the City of Dania Beach reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in a bid and to make an award in the best interests of the City, as Owner.
