Question Deadline 06/20/2023 at 2:30 PM ET These specifications in addition to and/or in place of similar paragraphs in the Board of Education of Harford County (hereafter referred to as Harford County Public Schools or HCPS), Instruction to Bidders, are intended to furnish all necessary permits, plant, labor, equipment, materials, supervision, tools, insurance, services, and all related incidentals required to perform all work necessary to repair siding located at Youth's Benefit Elementary School, 1901 Fallston Road, Fallston, MD 21047. 1.2 It is the intent of these specifications to provide prospective bidders with complete information relative to the total performance of any resulting Contract. Bidders are obligated to read and understand all parts of this Invitation for Bid and to obtain clarification of any part not thoroughly understood. 1.3 The contract resulting from this solicitation will be coordinated through the Planning and Construction Department. SCOPE OF WORK 2.1 It is the intention of Harford County Public Schools to repair damaged siding at Youth's Benefit Elementary School. The requirements outlined herein are intended as an aid to acquaint Bidders with what could be required to execute the work on this contract. These specifications will serve as the source documents for services for the Contract. 2.2 All work shall be approved by HCPS Planning and Construction Department. HCPS reserves the right of final approval for any work at the time of job completion. If the work is not acceptable, the Awarded Bidder will be called in to review and correct all problem areas without additional cost to HCPS. Any work necessary will be performed in accordance with a schedule jointly agreed upon. Failure of the Awarded Bidder to correct deficiencies, in a timely manner, may result in HCPS contracting with another vendor to correct deficiencies. The Awarded Bidder may then be responsible for the associated cost(s).
