No definite date for the rebid.** The City of Dixon (CITY) and the Department of Public Works is pursuing a contractor to provide replacement and remodel services to the tennis courts located in Hall Park in the City of Dixon. Services will include the replacement of the tennis court surfacing and the underlying asphalt base layer. Additional services will include the installation of new tennis court LED lighting, the upgrade of existing lighting to LED fixtures, installation of new fencing between the tennis courts, and the replacement of tennis/pickle ball court nets and posts. Any questions must be received electronically by the date specified in the schedule shown in Section IV of this RFQ/P to: Linda Babb, Public Works Administrative Clerk Email: lbabb@cityofdixon.us SCOPE OF SERVICES For all scope of services, the Contractor shall maintain professional, responsible and responsive working relationships with customers, City staff, advisors, consultants, regulatory agencies and other entities with which the City may have dealings. The Director of Public Works will be the Agreement Manager and responsible for all communications with the City Council and regulatory agencies (except where the Contractor is required by law as the Operator of Record). Scope of services shall include, but are not limited to, the following: Fencing: Removal, on-site storage, and re-installation of existing fence. Cataloguing of fencing components - existing gates, fence fabric, top rail, mid rail and bottom tension wire - for accurate re-install. New 10' Fencing between Courts: o Demolition and removal of old fence post and footings. o Off-haul and dispose of all debris. o Installation of new footings and 10' tall chain link fence match existing perimeter fence. Asphalt Replacement: Approximately 42,519 SF o Grind and Remove designated area of failed and damaged pavement. Off-haul debris. o Excavation and compacting of existing subgrade material. o Application of tack oil to vertical edges. o Place and compact 3" of new hot-mix asphalt paving. Concrete Bond Beam 24" Wide x 6" Depth: o Excavate Perimeter. Form and set reinforcing steel. o Pour and finish each concrete footing at perimeter fence on existing tennis court Fence Line. o Place (2) each no. 4 rebar continuous. o Assume plain color and standard finish. Tennis / Pickleball Courts Surfacing: Approximately 42,519 SF o Ensure new asphalt is clean, set, and prepped for new court surfacing. o Identify and mark low areas by flooding of the area or by another industry accepted method. o Spot Level identified areas. o Application of one (1) coat of acrylic surface prep prior to color application. o Application of two (2) base coats of full color acrylic mixed with sand to achieve the desired texture for "medium play" court surface standards. o Application of one (1) final full color acrylic without sand. o Paint court lines using white line paint.
