A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Kenton County Airport Board (KCAB) is soliciting bids for sludge tank aeration replacement equipment for the Stormwater Treatment Plant (SWTP) at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG). The sludge holding tank and associated aeration equipment were installed at the SWTP in 2004. The sludge holding tank holds the mixed liquid suspended solids that have been wasted out of the treatment process prior to being sent through the centrifuge. The existing equipment consists of PVC piping that conveys air from centrifugal blowers to the tank. Coarse bubbles are provided by the duckbill aerators. The PVC piping has begun to reach the end of life and was recently repaired after several air leaks were discovered. KCAB reserves the right to waive any informality or irregularity in any proposal or bid guaranty, to reject any or all proposals, to award or refrain from awarding a contract for the work, and to negotiate with the apparent qualified responsible proposer to such extent as may be beneficial to KCAB.
