The scope of work for this project consists of furnishing all materials, labor, supervision, equipment, and incidentals to construct 5-foot wide concrete sidewalks. Items of work include, but are not limited to, roadway excavation, removal & relocation of signs, removal of existing concrete pavement, concrete driveways, curb ramp, concrete curb, traffic control, site restoration and clean-up. All work shall be performed in accordance with the specifications, construction drawings, any applicable local, state and federal codes, ordinances and regulations. All pedestrian facilities shall be ADA compliant. This project will be federally funded by the U.S. Housing and Urban Development Department (HUD) through the Harris County Community Services Department (HCCSD). Applicable requirements include, but are not limited to, compliance with Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, Fair Labor Standards, Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action, Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968, and contracting with small, minority and disadvantaged firms, as detailed in the project manual r.
