The Public Works Department of Oakland is seeking qualifications from architectural firms with different capacity and expertise to provide on-call architectural services for multiple projects across the city including facility assessment, master plan analysis, facility planning, engineering and design services, construction support services, outreach and engagement, and other related professional service to successfully deliver the Citys needs in facility and building projects. The on-call services required will cover a range of project types, including libraries, recreation and community centers, public safety facilities, municipal buildings, and other structures, with construction budgets varying per project. Construction budgets of individual projects will vary. Project definition will take place at or around the time of project assignment. The prime consultant responding to this RFQ shall be licensed to practice architecture in the State of California. While the City anticipates awarding up to ten (10) firms, the City reserves the right to award to any number of firms deemed most qualified with the variety of experiences suitable to perform the necessary scope. No minimum amount of work is guaranteed under these contracts. Contract Term and Amount: Four (4) years. Anticipated maximum contract limit of $500,000 for Tier 1 and $2,000,000 for Tier II, per each contract per year up to four years.
