This requirement is set-aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). General Description: Contractor shall provide all DB services including labor, materials, tools, and equipment as necessary to construct the project as further defined in the statement of work (SOW). This project will completely prepare the site for replacement of the existing MRI equipment with new 3T and 1.5T MRI equipment and perform site preparation for installation of the modular MRI. The mobile MRI site preparation shall be completed prior to site prep for the new MRI equipment replacement. The modular MRI shall be complete and operational prior to starting prep work on the 3T and 1.5T MRI site preparations. The MRI replacement work will include mold remediation for the existing spaces as part of this project. This will take place in rooms 1E206, 1E206a,1E302, 1E202,1E204, and 1EC02. The contractor shall perform work on only one (1) MRI area during construction and, upon completion, the new MRI shall be fully tested and operational before starting work on the other MRI area. The detailed SOW shall be coordinated with the mobile MRI vendor's equipment requirements and ensure full compliance with the Mobile MRI requirements for proper operation. The same requirements apply to the new 3T and 1.5T MRI equipment. In accordance with Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 836.204 (f)(2), the magnitude of construction is between $2,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00.
