Site work for a water / sewer project in Portage, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work for which Bids are asked includes installation of new watermain including but not limited to the following: Connecting to the existing watermain, installation of approximately 585 linear feet of 10" C900 watermain, installation of approximately 790 linear feet of 8" C900 watermain, installation of 4 fire hydrants, installation of gate valves as applicable, and site restoration. There are no prevailing wage rates for this contract. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond equal to five percent of the maximum bid price, payable to the Owner as a guaranty that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract Documents and furnish the required contract security. If the Successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract Documents [and provide the required contract security within 15 days after the Notice of Award, the Owner may annul the Notice of Award and the Bid Security will be forfeited. Bids may not be withdrawn within 60 days after the date of the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to award the Contract to the Bidder, who in the judgment of the Owner, will best serve the interest of the Owner
