Bay Point Collection System Point Repairs Project The Project includes the repair and rehabilitation of fourteen (14) sewer main segments throughout the Bay Point Collection System (BPCS). These sewer main segments have been identified as having significant structural defects and were given a PACP quick rating of four (4) or five (5). The fourteen (14) sewer main segments are to be repaired by open cut trench or cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) liner method. There are two (2) sewer main segments that have gone through the Union Pacific Railroad (UPR) Encroachment permitting process and will require further coordination with UPR during construction. This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is for construction services required for the repair and rehabilitation of fourteen (14) sewer main segments located in Bay Point, CA. These sewer main segments were identified as having significant structural defects and were given a PACP quick rating of a 4 or 5. The Contractor shall supply all the equipment, labor, materials, and incidentals required to perform the scope of work as described in the Contract Documents. There is an optional site visit/pre-bid meeting scheduled as part of this project. The Districts intention is to give the potential bidder a chance to become familiar with the existing site conditions and provide a detailed overview of the scope of work and project expectations.
