Greene County Judicial Courts Center HVAC Replacement PROJECT DESCRIPTION A. Summary Project Description: 1. Replacement of existing make-up air unit with dedicated outside air unit with hot water heat and DX cooling. 2. Replacement of open loop cooling towers serving water-cooled chillers and associated piping modifications and controls. 3. Work that causes noise disturbances in courtrooms is to be performed outside of building operating hours, as well as for outages for power and/or extended time without HVAC. Crane work that needs to be done from the parking lot east or west of the building is also to be performed outside of building operating hours. B. Contract Scope: Construction, demolition, and renovation. Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount. The security deposit will be returned after delivery to the Owner of the required Performance and Payment Bond(s) by the accepted bidder. D. Include the cost of bid security in the Bid Amount. If no contract is awarded, all security deposits will be returned. Owner reserves the right to reject any submittals and select the most qualified contractor to perform the work.
