Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Cutoff for Submission of Written Questions June 27, 2023 at 4:00 PM The Work includes milling of the three Willowbank parking lots to base. i. Once the asphalt is removed, the base layer will need to be inspected for areas of compromise and repair any base layer deficiencies. ii. A two and a half-inch (2.5 inch) asphalt binder layer will then be applied to the three (3) parking lots. iii. A one and a half-inch (1.5 inch) wearing course will need to be applied to all three (3) parking lots. iv. Bidders shall submit a proposed asphalt mix design with their bid. v. The successful bidder must check the finished grade to allow proper drainage. vi. Complete line striping of parking lots to include ADA spaces. vii. Excess material to be removed by successful bidder. viii. Successful bidder will provide labor, equipment, and material for all work. ix. Successful bidder will be expected to complete the work within 90 days once a notice to proceed letter is issued. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the form of certified check, bank cashiers check, or bond provided by a surety company authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid amount, made payable to Centre County Government. Telephone, e-mail, and/or facsimile Bids will not be accepted.
