The intent of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to select one experienced firm to provide Construction Management At-Risk (CMAR) services for the preconstruction, including the preparation and submission of a guaranteed maximum price (GMP), and construction phase services for the project. Lift station (LS) 2 is a mater lift station that conveys wastewater flow from the majority of the City's northeast wastewater collection area to the City's Water Reclamation Facility (WRF). City of Plant City is currently working on the design to install a new LS adjacent to the existing LS within the same parcel and decommission the existing LS. The new LS is triplex station including electrical building. CMAR will be responsible for providing effective management of the project's schedule, cost, quality, safety, scope, and function of the work described below section. The deadline to submit questions is not later than 3:00 PM local time on Monday, June 19, 2023 A cashier's check or bid bond equal to 5% of the total price for the work proposed must be included with each bid. Principal shall execute such contract documents, if any, as may be required by the terms of the bid and give such contractor's bond or bonds for the performance of the contract and for the prompt payment of labor and material furnished for the project as may be specified in the proposal. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals at any time and for any reason.
