Renovation of a residential development in Bartow, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The HAB desires to replace approximately 375 existing windows with security screens at its Carver Village Complex located at 1060 South Golfview Avenue, Bartow, Florida with new windows and new security screens that will provide, at least, the same level of protection as existing while meeting all applicable state and local codes especially the 2020 Florida Building Code, Residential, 7th Edition All screens supplied and installed shall be hinged, consisting of an aluminum mainframe, aluminum sub-frame/slash, stainless steel wire cloth, concealed hinges, and have a continuous locking system with a single lever emergency release. All screws, anchors, fasteners and springs shall be stainless steel. No plastic, steel or galvanized steel parts will be accepted email questions to habprocurement@hardeemail.com prior to 4:00 p.m., Eastern Time, on July 05, 2023. Liquidated Damages-If the successful contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified in subsequent signed Agreement for services, the successful contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the HAB in the amount of $75.00 Minority and Woman Business Enterprises (MBE/WBE) and Section 3 firms are strongly encouraged to respond to this and all HAB projects, programs, and services.
