The Town of Greenwich Purchasing Department, on behalf of Town of Greenwich government, is seeking proposals from qualified renewable energy developers to design, build, operate, and maintain a solar photovoltaic installation on the new Eastern Greenwich Civic Center located at 90 Harding Road, Old Greenwich, Connecticut. Proposals shall include a clear explanation of relevant project development efforts, associated risks, costs, and benefits of currently available rooftop solar programs.m. The Town of Greenwich (herein “TOG” and/or “Town”), population of approximately 63,500, is located in the southwestern corner of Fairfield County. Greenwich is the nearest Connecticut Town to New York City and is located on the mainline of the Metro-North Railroad. The Town is served by Interstate 95, the Merritt Parkway (Route 15), and US Route 1. The Town recognizes the benefits and value of renewable energy as a means of stabilizing and reducing its long-term electricity costs and the correlating impact on the environment and community. Respondents shall offer the TOG both a power purchase agreement and a turnkey project sale and installation agreement option. The Town is interested in obtaining the most advantageous and competitively priced approach to serve the new civic center
