HVAC unit replacement Bid specifications and complete project timeline are available from the library's Questions from bidders can be emailed to building@poplarbluff.org June 21st - 10am site visit and written questions submitted The Board of Trustees selects the firm in its sole discretion that it finds to be best qualified and to have submitted the most favorable response. The Board may accept or reject any and all proposals. The contractor shall provide all the necessary engineering, material procurement, management, labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, services, components, and disposal to successfully complete the replacement of existing HVAC units outlined below to the satisfaction of the owner. Contingency shall be no more than 10% of the total bid amount. Proof of liability and workers compensation insurance must accompany bid. Timeline: June 21st - 10am site visit and written questions submitted June 26th - Questions answered July 6th - Bids Due at 12pm. Open and catalog all bids to include in board packet July 10th - Board selects bidder to proceed September 12th - Equipment payment March 4th 2024 - Contractor to begin replacement April 1st 2024 - Payment of 50% remaining balance April 26th 2024 - Replacement complete May 27th 2024 - 30 Day Runtime. If failure of any system in the 30 day period, start timer over after correction. Final 50% balance payment after all systems operational for uninterrupted 30 days.
