Site work and paving for a road / highway in Bolton, Ontario. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway.

Construction of a granular switchback trail within TRCAs Bolton Resource Management Tract (BRMT) in the Town of Caledon. TIMELINE: An RFP for engineering services to develop conceptual and detailed designs has been awarded by the owner. Three (3) concept designs are to be prepared to inform the choice of one (1) preferred concept design as directed by TRCA. Concept designs are to be of sufficient detail to discuss their feasibility and constructability. Concept designs should also include the approximate location and, if possible, the approximate size of anticipated design features such as retaining walls, stormwater management features, and/or any other significant structures. The development of detailed design shall be supported by appropriate civil engineering, structural engineering (e.g., retaining walls and pedestrian bridge), water resources engineering, and geotechnical investigations. Structural components are to meet an adequate factor of safety which will ensure long term stability and public safety. The main objective of the BRMT Works Yard Switchback Trail is to provide a new switchback trail connection that improves accessibility, connectivity, safety, and user experience. *Budget is undefined.
