Work will include site clearing, earthwork operations, bocce ball courts, curb, fencing, sport court surfacing, tennis and pickleball equipment, concrete walks and paving, shelter installation, and planting. All bidders will be required to submit bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier's Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Village of Gilberts. The successful bidder, as determined by the Village ofGilberts, shall be required to pay, and to agree to pay no less than the Prevailing Rate of Wages, pursuant to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130) for the locality of the Village of Gilberts (Kane County), to each laborer worker, or mechanic needed or used to complete the work as detailed in the contract to be let.
