The City of Salmon Arm is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced proponents for the supply & installation (replacement) of two (2) Fuel Pumps, Fuel Controls & Fuel Management Software for City Public Works Yard located at 100 30 Street SE, Salmon Arm. The current system in place consists of the following: One (1) Combination gasoline and diesel storage tank 12,500 litre gasoline storage 12,500 litre diesel storage Outdated Fuel pumps Outdated key controlled The successful proponent shall be responsible for providing all services required to complete the project, which includes but is not limited to the following: Removal and all costs related to the disposal of the old pump and control system Delivery and installation of all new infrastructure. Pumps must have the following capabilities: commercial application, island installation, weights and measures certified, external filter kit The proposed system should have the capacity to facilitate a minimum of 150 accounts (i.e. vehicles, users.) and utilize a type of vehicle tags (preferred wireless) and nozzle readers for fuel dispensing. Other applications will be accepted and reviewed. The scope of services encompass the installation of necessary equipment, implementation and testing of the new fuel management system, with training to ensure all users are comfortable with the use. The Fuel Management system must include a monitoring system, preferred web-based interface and any required technology for a fully automated monitoring system. Control terminal shall be capable of storing up to 500 transactions in the event of a communication or power failure. At minimum, transactions should include date and time of transaction, type and amount of fuel used, PIM or user/vehicle ID information. System must be capable of providing email alerts for successful and unsuccessful transactions, invalid entries, transactions exceeding any system limits, automatic daily, weekly and monthly reports for fuel usage summaries or detailed reports, and automatic tank level notifications. System must have capabilities for customizable and downloadable reports is CSV and PDF format and the ability for City staff to add, edit or delete drivers or vehicles. System must be expandable for future expansions in the number of fuel sites, vehicles, drivers, dispensers and nozzles. Data storage backup is required. Provide technical documentation for the fuel management system equipment and software Provide training on installed equipment and software Minimum one year warranty of parts and labor required from date of installation of services. System must conform to ISO 9001:2000 standards for quality management systems. Operating temperature of -40 C to +60C Flow rates shall satisfy the needs of Public Works Operations.
