Rehabilitation of Hwy 409 Eastbound and Westbound for 5 km between Hwy 401 and Hwy 427 (5.4 km in length), including minor rehabilitation of two bridges (Highway 27 OP bridge and Shaft Rd. OP bridge) and demolition of two CNR subway bridges (Highbury Spur and Aylmer Spur). GWP 2255-21-00. Future construction contract# 2026-2013. TIMELINE: Detailed design is ongoing & will continue through to the end of 2025. Construction is anticipated in 2026. An RFP for Contract Administration Services for Contract 2026-2013 has been issued & can be followed under a separate report. Updates will be made spring 2026. *Estimated Cost Range $25 to $100 million
