Reference Number 0000249594 Question Acceptance Deadline 06/28/2023 at 4:00 PM ET, 2023/06/28 03:00:00 PM CDT Questions are submitted online Neegan Burnside Ltd., on behalf of Sandy Lake First Nation, is inviting bids from qualified contractors for the Hydrant Replacement/Repair and Associated Works Project in Sandy Lake First Nation, Ontario The Sandy Lake First Nation community is in the Kenora District west in Northern Ontario 227 km northwest of Red Lake, Ontario. The community is accessible year-round by air service and seasonally by winter road. The general scope of work for the project includes, but is not limited to: 1. Complete the required hydrant and valve replacements and repairs to ensure the fire hydrants are repaired and returned to normal operational state. All internal parts of the upper and bottom hydrant shall be replaced/repaired as required. Gate valves and valve boxes shall be replaced if found faulty. 2. The General Contractor shall use procured material/parts and any salvaged material/parts from decommissioned hydrants if usable to repair/replace hydrants in the community and place all hydrants back into service. 3. The replacement and/or repair of 66 Hydrants, valves and appurtenances on the community distribution system using materials pre-purchased by the Community.
