Renovation of a municipal facility in Perth-Andover, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Perth-Andover Electric Light Commission invites qualified companies to submit proposals for the supply and installation of a small solar system in our community. We aim to explore the benefits of renewable energy generation and leverage our electrical distribution utility to support green initiatives in our community. This project will serve as a proof-of-concept to assess the benefits and capacity of solar generation in our community, with the potential for future expansion. Scope of Work Proposals should include the following information: a. Budget: The budget for this proof-of-concept project is set between $150,000 and $200,000 for the capital installation of the system. b. Site Selection: The final site for installation will be determined in consultation with the municipality. c. Battery System: Contractors may incorporate an option for an onsite battery system for this project. d. Permits and Certifications: The utility will obtain all necessary permits, licenses, and certifications. e. Company Information: Provide background information on your company, relevant experience, and a list of similar projects completed. Include references. f. Project Timeline: Detail the proposed start and completion dates for the project. g. Technical Specifications: Provide comprehensive technical specifications for the proposed project, including generation capabilities, monitoring, and a financial analysis of system benefits. h. System Commissioning: Include commissioning services and training for municipal representatives. i. Warranty: Specify the warranty offered for all components of the system. j. Additional Information: Contractors are encouraged to provide any other relevant information that will aid in understanding their proposal.
