Renovation of a mixed-use development in Lynwood, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Exterior Roofing and Sealing. It is the intent of this contract to provide a fully finished exterior upgrade to all buildings on the existing Marco Antonio Firebaugh High School campus at the Lynwood Unified School District. The attached photographs and specifications are intended to give a general representation of the exterior elements of the buildings only and to give the contractor a basic understanding of the overall scope. Question Deadline 06/26/2023 at 4:00 PM PT Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of: (i) a certified or cashiers check made payable to the District or (ii) a Bid Bond, in the form and content included with the Contract Documents in an amount equal to Ten Percent (10%) NO Mandatory Job Walk is required. It is the intent of this contract to provide a fully finished exterior upgrade to all buildings on the existing Marco Antonio Firebaugh High School campus at the Lynwood Unified School District. The attached photographs and specifications are intended to give a general representation of the exterior elements of the buildings only and to give the contractor a basic understanding of the overall scope. Remove all signage including door and ada signage and reinstall upon completion of finish work with vandal proof screws. 1.13. Re-nail all exposed wood siding where nails are protruding, patch and repair holes prior to refinishing at portables. 1.14. Where existing wood sills occur at windows, the contractor shall completely strip, fill in and repair damaged surfaces and refinish. Del Terra crossed off (keep or delete) 1.9. Surface preparation and re-finishing of all portable building walls, trim, etc. 1.3. Surface preparation of emu walls to receive rainguard products as outlined in specifications. 1.6. Aluminum framed windows and frames are not included in the scope of work including the storefronts. 1.4. Preparation and re-finishing of all existing roof edge flashing/coping. 1.8. Preparation at building foundations against landscaped areas to prepare for a complete water sealer coverage. 1.2. Prepare all painted metallic elements to receive high performance architectural grade paint. 1.7. Preparation and re-finishing of all doors, frames and doors (interior, exterior, strike and hinge sides), door hardware excluded. 1.1. Surface preparation and re-finishing of all exterior plaster and decorative metal frames mounted to emu, plaster soffits, columns, fascia, gutters, downspouts, painted surface mounted conduit, painted data and electrical boxes etc. with a new paint system. Preparation and re-finishing of all exposed metal columns, handrails, guardrails, stair ledgers, downspouts, brackets, decorative metal elements, etc. galvanized metal handrails/guardrails remain unpainted Aluminum framed windows and frames are not included in the scope of work including the storefronts. 1.4. Preparation and re-finishing of all existing roof edge flashing/coping. 1.8. Preparation at building foundations against landscaped areas to prepare for a complete water sealer coverage. 1.2.
