Please see below for further information. The existing structure which consisted of a washbay and corrosion control bay shall be converted to a Special Operations Squadron and Maintenance building. The footprint of the building will only be modified to accept an exterior staircase to service the second floor and enclose an existing exterior vestibule. Major differences between the original facility configuration and the revised validated gross building area are as follows: The mezzanine area is to be extended and converted to administrative spaces complying with ICD705 requirements. The first floor will be altered to convert office space into a dining/dayroom for an alert crew and their visitors. Offices will be converted into an exercise room to support 24/7 operations. Crew readiness rooms will be constructed from pre-existing shop and storage rooms. Existing back shops will be repurposed to support new shop, MX and COMBs storage functions. An elevator and shaft will be constructed to ensure the facility is ABA compliant and incidental related work. But not limited to please review the specifications for more information.
