Site work for a water / sewer project in Shorewood, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project will consist of dye water flooding approximately 4,130 linear feet of 12-inch through 24-inch storm sewer and concurrent televising of the adjacent sanitary sewer. The Bid documents are those prepared by Strand Associates, Inc.(R), 126 North Jefferson Street, Suite 350, Milwaukee, WI 53202, and designated as "2023 Dye Water Flooding Project." The letting of Work is subject to the provisions of Section 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check payable to the Village of Shorewood equal to 5% of the largest possible total Bid. The successful Bidder's failure to execute the contract and furnish the performance bond within 10 days after the Award shall cause the bid bond or check to be forfeited to the Village as liquidated damages in accordance with Section 62.15(3) of the Wisconsin Statutes. A recommendation will be made to the Village Board at its meeting on July 3, 2023. Award will be made to the lowest and most responsible Bidder. The Village of Shorewood reserves the right to accept any Bid most advantageous to the Village, waive any technicality, or reject any or all Bids. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the Bid Opening date without the consent of the Village. Contractors MUST be an approved Contractor on Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District's Approved Contractor List.
