Downtown Bond Projects - Package 2A-Waterline Replacements, Drainage and Street Improvements for Buchanan St.: Baggett to Mock St.; Kate Smith St.; Mock St. The Contract provides for the construction of approximately 1,450 linear feet of 12-inch water line and 1,500 linear feet of 8-inch water line, as well as approximately 2,000 linear feet of reinforced concrete box culvert of varying size, and approximately 2,000 linear feet of reinforced concrete pipe of varying size, drainage structures and inlets. Other major components of the project include approximately 1,400 linear feet of street improvements to W Buchanan Street, as well as 700 linear feet of street im-provements to Kate Smith Street, and 800 linear feet of N Mock Street. Street improvements consist of pavement, parking, sidewalks, intersections, signage pavement markings and lighting. Bid security in the form of a certified or bank cashiers check or a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of to-tal Bid price shall accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive irregularities therein, and all Bidders shall agree that such rejection shall be without liability on the part of the Owner for any damage or claim brought by any Bidder because of such rejections, nor shall the Bidders seek any recourse of any kind against the Owner because of such rejections.
