Renovation of a municipal facility in Fall Creek, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

1. Install poly wall to partition off the entryway from the NC and the basement. 2. Remove the suspended ceiling tiles in the entryway, the gift shop, Directors office and main office. The suspended ceiling will be re-installed after the building is re-insulated. Re-use as much of the existing suspended ceiling tiles and hanging structure as possible. Install surface lights with equivalent lumens. 3. Cut appropriate access holes, as required by the insulation contractor, to get access to the attic for removal of the existing attic insulation from the entryway area. 4. After insulation removal, install an appropriate vapor barrier and cover the ceiling with 5/8" drywall and 1/2" drywall for the vertical stem walls, or as required by code. Tape, texture, and/or paint drywall only if required by code since it will be covered by the suspended ceiling. 5. Re-install suspended ceiling after the insulation contractor has completed their work. A bid bond is required. This bid bond can be a 5% certified check or a typical 5% bid bond from an insurance company. Certified checks will be returned after the award process. All projects estimated to cost over $50,000 will require a 100% Performance Bond be attained by the selected contractor. Eau Claire County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities in any bid or part thereof deemed to be in the best interest of Eau Claire County. Eau Claire County is requesting bids to remove existing drop ceiling and re-insulate the middle part of the building between the auditorium and the 1984 addition, which is approximately 1,814 sq/ft. Bids can be submitted electronically . Walk-in, USPS mail, UPS and Fed Ex submittals will also be accepted at the Purchasing Department, Eau Claire County Courthouse/Government Center, 721 Oxford Avenue, Suite 3400, Eau Claire, WI 54703.
