Site work and paving for a civil project in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The Project consists generally of the following major items: Clearing, installation and maintenance of sediment and erosion controls, earthwork and grading, installation of drainage features and green storm water infrastructure controls, plantings, traffic control, paving, and other related items as shown on the construction specification and plans and/or as directed by the Project Engineer. 1. Community Center Bioretention & Swale- 525 ft2 Bioretention cell with a 3' retaining wall on the NW side of the community center building. Inlet swale to be excavated and convey runoff from the downspouts. Underdrain system outlets downslope to a dissipator pad. Densely planted with native species. 2. Community Center Cisterns & Swale- 2,500-Gal and 2,000-Gal cisterns installed on the S and E side of the community center building, respectively, and a small swale between. Wet conveyance of roof runoff to the cisterns. Overflows and passive drawdown devices route to a catch basin and daylight into the swale or downhill. 3.Central Bioretention & Outfall- 1,660 ft2 Bioretention Cell and improved outfall area located west of the playground. A new inlet swale conveys runoff from the east of the park and the Pool Bioretention to the Central Bioretention. Underdrain system outlets to existing concrete riser. Boulder wall build along the SE of the bioretention, and the bioretention is densely planted with native species. Outfall area plunge pool lined with riprap, and wildflower seed mix and live stakes planted along the channel banks and surrounding area. 4.Pool Bioretention- 1,480 ft2 Bioretention Cell with 6' wide embankment located north of the pool. New 18" HDPE pipe junctions existing pipe and routes parking lot runoff to the bioretention cell. Built inlet swale conveys additional surface runoff from pool building area. Concrete Riser structure and 24" HDPE outlet pipe conveys overflow runoff to the Central Bioretention. Underdrain system daylights in the concrete riser. Bioretention is densely planted with native species and select container trees in the surrounding area. 5.Entrance Bioretention- 470 ft2 Bioretention Cell with a 3' retaining wall located SE of the pool. Inlet swale conveys parking lot runoff to the bioretention cell. Underdrain system outlets to a dissipator pad, and water flows to an existing drop inlet. Bioretention is densely planted with native species. 6.Entrance Stabilizations 1-3 - Three ditch water conveyance stabilizations located along Crown Crossing Ln at the S entrance to the park. Stabilizations include excavation and backfilling rip rap in the bottom of existing swales, installing boulder steps, clearing debris from existing structures, and adding a pipe segment to an existing pipe and backfilling. Area stabilized with seed and straw at completion. NC State University's Water Resources Research Institute (hereafter referred to as WRRI) seeks proposals from experienced, qualified contractors to install several green stormwater infrastructure projects at Biltmore Hills Park, 701 Crown Crossing Lane, Raleigh, NC 27610 (35.746769, -78.627649). The purpose of the proposed project is to treat storm water runoff from the Community Center rooftop and entrance parking lot, and stabilize related outfalls as part of a watershed improvement project. WRRI has received grants to install the storm water projects in partnership with the landowner, City of Raleigh (hereafter referred to as the "City").
