Site work for a water / sewer project in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project contemplated herein consists of the Contractor making repairs and replacing several components of IPS Transfer Pump #1-1, as well as performing installation and startup. Brown Procurement Manager The following specification describes the repairs to the IPS Transfer Pump #1-1 located in the Thickening Building at the Jones Island Water Reclamation Facility. The pump has already been disconnected mechanically and electrically. The pump shall be picked up and transported to the repair facility. The Contractor shall procure and install new pump parts and rebuild the pump. The rebuilt pump shall perform shop testing until its performance meets or exceeds the OEM specs. The rebuilt pump shall be transported back to Jones Island, installed and reconnected mechanically and electrically. The pump and motor shall be aligned properly. The Contractor shall perform start-up, vibration analysis and final testing.
