**As of July 25, 2023, project was awarded to Len Honcoop Gravel Inc., awarded amount is $270,771.75.** This contract provides for the repair of a failing slope on E. Front Street. Work to be performed under this contract shall include construction of approximately 1,500 square feet of MSE wall, storm drain pipe, grinding and paving HMA, curb and gutter, guardrail, and restoration planting. All work shall be in accordance with the Contract Plans, Special Provisions, the Standard Specifications, and Standard Plans. All materials, equipment, labor, and other miscellaneous items required to complete the work shall be furnished by the contractor. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond and payment bond both in an amount of 100 percent (100%) of the contract price within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Lynden. All bidders and subcontractors shall have a contractor's license to work in the State of Washington and a City of Lynden Business License.
