Construction, replace decking at the visitor center, biscayne national park The Department of the Interior-National Park Service (NPS) Interior Region 2 - South Atlantic Gulf - Contracting Officer intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) and subsequently award a Firm Fixed Price contract to for the Replacement of all decking material of the entire terrace/porch, ABA ramp, three sets of stairs, and the 'catwalk' bridge located at the Dante Fascell Visitor Center (VC) located at Convoy Point of Biscayne National Park. The work to be performed must include all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation, and supervision in accordance with the Scope or Work and Drawings that will be included as attachments when the formal solicitation is issued. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous and provide the best value to the Government in regards price and other factors considered. Payment Bonds and Performance bonds for construction contracts will be required in accordance with FAR 28.102-2. The contract is expected to be awarded in early to mid August 2023.
