Renovation of a municipal facility in Lillington, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of May 22, 2025, this project has been completed. County is seeking to upfit the second-floor extension of the Harnett County DSS located at 311 W. Cornelius Harnett Blvd., Lillington, N.C. This 5,440 squarefoot space is unfinished, with a 475 square-foot mechanical room for HVAC that has water hookups. Attached is a rough sketch, not to scale, including seven enclosed offices, a conference room, a breakroom, storage rooms, countertops with charging stations, and a sink and a refrigerator on either side of the mechanical room. The remaining space will be filled with cubicle workstations. Additional programming is required from the successful firm to optimize space utilization in the second-story upfit.
