For projects costing twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) or more, the successful Respondent shall be required to provide a performance (surety) bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the project cost to insure the successful performance. In case the work is not completed in every respect within the time that may be extended, it is understood and agreed that per diem deductions of the sum of $500.00 for liquidated damages, as stipulated in the quote and or contract, shall be made from the total contract price for each and every calendar day after and exclusive of the day on which completion was required, and up to the completion of the work and acceptance thereof by the Parish.
