The project will include the construction of a dual lane PCC pavement roundabout at the intersection of Kerper Court and Kerper Boulevard. The project also includes construction of associated lighting, sidewalks, storm sewer and intakes. The project will include the following quantities. 5170 SY 10" PCC Pavement 438 SY 10" Integral Colored PCC Pavement - Brick Red 433 SY HMA Pavement by Square Yards, 8" Thick 275 SY of 6" PCC Sidewalk 200 SY of 8" PCC Driveways 574 LF 15" RCP Storm Sewer 3670 LF Trenching, 26" Depth 3670 LF 2" PVC Conduit 7 each 30' Galvanized Street Light Poles and luminaires Base Bid Estimated Total Cost = $1,327,497.00 Each Bidder must accompany its Bid with a Bid security as security that the successful Bidder will enter into a contract for the work Bid upon and will furnish after the award of contract a corporate surety Bond, acceptable to the governmental entity, for the faithful performance of the contract, in an amount equal to one hundred percent of the amount of the contract. The Bid security must be in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the contract and must be in the form of a cashier's check or certified check drawn on a state chartered or federally chartered bank, or a certified share draft drawn on a state chartered or federally chartered credit union, or the Bidder may provide a Bid Bond with corporate surety satisfactory to the governmental entity. The Bid Bond must contain no conditions except as provided in this section. Work on the Project must be commenced within ten (10) calendar days after the Notice to Proceed has been issued and shall be fully completed by November 30, 2023. The City of Dubuque, Iowa, reserves the right to reject any and all Bids.
