The Village of Round Lake Beach is requesting bids from qualified firms and/or individuals for concrete flatwork for the municipalities of Round Lake Beach and Round Lake. The awarded contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, and equipment for concrete flatwork construction including sidewalks, curb & gutter, installation of ADA detectable warning fields, and adjustment of utility structures for assistance with free membership registration, downloading, and working with this digital project information. Each bid must be placed in a sealed envelope and clearly marked on the outside: 2023 Concrete Flatwork. All sealed bids received by 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2023 will be opened and read publicly on: Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Public Works Department 911 Lotus Dr. Round Lake Beach, Illinois, 60073 The successful bidder shall warrant and guarantee that the bid price will be firm and that there will not be an escalation at time of construction. The Village of Round Lake Beach and the Village of Round Lake reserve the right to reject any or all proposals, or parts thereof, and to waive any technicality, informality or irregularity in the proposals received, and to disregard all nonconforming or conditional proposals or counter- proposals and to hold the proposal for sixty (60) days from the opening date set forth above. The Villages further reserves the right in their sole discretion to award the proposal to the most responsible bidder whose offer best responds in quality, fitness and capacity to the requirements of the proposed work or usage and therefore is in the best interest of the Villages.
