The excavation services will be conducted at various locations in Northern Baltimore County as deemed necessary by the Resident Maintenance Engineer. Services will include, but are not limited to: excavating gutters, ditch lines, pipe culverts, deep patching, excavate, grade, construct embankments, and backfill for sediment and erosion control. All operators shall have a valid CDL license with no more than six (6) points on their current driving record and a minimum of five (5) years' experience operating the equipment. State Highway Administration will provide any supplies and materials, outside of the operation of the gradall, necessary to perform and complete work performed under this contract. Fuels, oil, grease, maintenance and repairs, workers comp, insurance, taxes and travel time to and from your base of operation are incidental to the Contract. The Contractor shall respond within five (5) working days of notification for routine scheduled work. The Contractor will be required to respond with-in four (4) hours of notification during emergency situations. State Highway guarantees a four (4) hour minimum per call-out. Contractor's operations for routine scheduled work will be conducted between the hours of 7:30 A.M. to 4:00P.M., Monday through Friday, except state observed holidays. Contractor is expected to report to designated job site as directed. Any traffic control necessary on a job site will be the responsibility of State Highway Administration. State Highway Administration will also be responsible for keeping the premises free from accumulation of waste materials or rubbish, will remove and dispose of all debris and defective materials. A Pre-Bid conference will not be held. Termination for Non appropriation. If funds are not appropriated or otherwise made available to support continuation in any fiscal year succeeding the first fiscal year, this Contract shall be terminated automatically as of the beginning of the fiscal year for which funds are not available. The Contractor may not recover anticipatory profits or costs incurred after termination.
