There is no approach guide rail. Stream channel has fair alignment with scattered debris and vegetation throughout. Both headwalls/parapets have areas of loose stones and missing mortar throughout. The N.W. cone. block wingwall is undermined up to 2', the 3 remaining wingwalls are loose stone and unstable. R.C. Pipe exhibits moderate to heavy scale along the invert for the entire length with random shallow spalls, areas of exposed reinforcement and gaps with missing mortar in pipe joints. Poor roadway drainage with significant erosion at the corners. Posted Warnings: None noted. Repair R.C. Pipe, grout gaps in pipe joints and seal voids between pipe and headwall. Repoint masonry headwalls/parapets. Repair N.W. cone. Block wingwall, install new cone. block wingwalls at the 3 remaining corners and stabilize channel/roadway embankments with riprap. Fix roadway drainage by installing B.C.L.C. as required. Install new approach guide railing (M.B.R. R-B 350 span type) Remove debris in channel and along roadway adjacent parapets. The awarded bidder proposes and agrees to completion of work within six months of bid acceptance.
