Condition Assessments (estimate of remaining service life and code compliance reviews,) investigation, analysis and recommendation(s) for repair/replacement of existing components including, but not limited to, parking lots, roadways, cement concrete pedestrian facilities, storm water infrastructure, and retaining walls. Civil design and related engineering services for new construction, renovations and demolition Preparation of estimates, schedules, plans and specifications for public works projects, site improvement projects and as otherwise requested Roadway and access drive design Sidewalk, curb and gutter and ADA ramp design and layout ADA accessibility review and design Parking lot design Electric Vehicle charging infrastructure Traffic and Transportation analysis and design Storm water analysis and design Utility design - upgrade and repair (water, sewer, storm) Site illumination design and analysis Commercial development potential of County property Provide support services in other disciplines as required to accomplish primarily civil Work Orders, including but not limited to: Cost Estimating; Surveying; Geotechnical; Other support services tasks as needed for the work Traffic Engineering Permitting and Bidding Support Services Construction Management Services Record drawing production from contractor provided redlines Cost estimates and schedules during various stages of project development Peer and constructability review of design and bid document review and analysis Field investigations and surveying Feasibility Studies, Development Planning, and Evaluation and Assessments Additional miscellaneous services and tasks generally associated with Civil Engineering Services Question Submission Deadline: June 29, 2023, 4:00pm The initial contract period is anticipated to be for 12 months. The County has the option of renewing for an additional Four Years after initial contract is executed. The actual schedule will be negotiated with the selected firm based on consultant and agency staff availability and finalized scope of work. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all submitted SOQs, to waive as informalities any irregularities, and to contract as the best interest of the County may require.
