The work for the Parking Garage Painting Rehabilitation project shall consist of, but not be limited to, the complete and satisfactory maintenance painting of the Chestnut Street, Southern Gateway Parking Garages structural steel components. Questions and Requests for Information shall be submitted to Louie Turcotte (lbturcotte@lewistonmaine.gov) on or before noon, June 26, 2023. Questions and RFIs will be responded to via email to potential bidders on the Plan Holders List and those registered with the City Purchasing Department for this project. Pre-bid meeting info : to examine the work site and ask questions of the City representatives. The meeting will be held in general location of the vehicle entrance on Lincoln St. of the Chestnut Parking Garage. Attendance at this meeting by the Contractor or his/her qualified representative is a Mandatory prerequisite for the acceptance of the proposal from the Contractor. Each bidder is required to state in his/her Proposal his/her name and place of residence and the names of all persons or parties interested as principals with him/her; and that the Proposal is made without any connection to any other bidder making any Proposal for the same work; and that no person acting for, or employed by, the City of Lewiston is directly or indirectly interested in the Proposal or in any contract which may be entered into to which the Proposal relates, or in any portion of the profits there from, except as provided by the City Charter.
