**As of August 4, 2023 project was awarded to The Scruggs Company, awarded amount is $1,914,004.22.** Project Description: The proposed construction consists of furnishing all materials and equipment and performing all labor necessary to complete the Grade, Base, & Paving of Flournoy Road, (project roadway length is 1.77 miles). Work includes grading, sand clay base placement, and triple surface treatment paving, storm drainage, and the implementation of the erosion, sediment, and pollution control plan and comprehensive monitoring program. All work will be in accordance with the Georgia Department of Transportation standard specifications and supplemental specifications (latest edition), the Georgia Manual for Erosion and Sediment Control (latest edition), and Houston County. Prequalification of Bidder: All potential bidders must hold a current Georgia Department of Transportation Certificate of Qualification. The Bidders Georgia Utility Contractor's License Number and E-Verify number shall be marked on the outside of the Bid Envelope. The proposed construction will be awarded in one contract. Bonds: All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the Total Base Bid. Performance and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract amount, will be required of the successful bidder.
