Scope of services
The city of pomona ("City") is seeking proposals ("Proposals") from qualified firms ("Proposers") for roofing engineering consultant services to prepare complete design packages and reports, identify the preferred design alternate, as well as complete phased bidding/construction plans, specifications and estimates, complete bid and construction ready contract documents, support bidding of the first phase(s) for construction and engineering support during construction and close out phases. Please see the consultant's scope of services in rfp. Services requested to ensure the following general summary of the intended resultant work is designed, permitted, approved, bid, and constructed on the city's historic and asbestos containing material fireproofed existing library building:
Roof replacement
HVAC system and controls replacement,
Carpet replacement,
Interior led troffer retrofit kits,
Led exterior lighting; and, related work.

Per section 2-971(2) of the pomona city code, any unauthorized contact by the bidder during the bid process with an official or city employee, other than those shown on the bid, the finance director or purchasing manager, shall cause the bidder to be immediately disqualified from participating in the bidding process.
Do not use the city's seal or logo. Doing so is in violation of the city's code and may result in immediate disqualification of the submittal. Section 2-5(3)a of the pomona city code prohibits the use of the city's seal or logo, or any reproduction thereof, for any purpose other than for official business of the city, its council, officers or departments.
Do not register for this solicitation through a third party other than Bidders must be listed on the city of pomona's "Prospective bidders list" on in order to participate in this bid. If bidders fail to register with prior to submitting a response, the city shall immediately reject any response you submit in reference to this solicitation.
