Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Mont-Royal, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 65,000-square-foot, two-story above grade, one-story below grade stadium; 20,000-square-foot, two-story above grade, one-story below grade clubhouse / community center; and for the demolition of a stadium.

Construction of a sports and community centre of the City. The new complex will include a swimming pool, a gymnasium, a running track, multifunctional rooms, an agora with an integrated snack bar, administrative offices and several other modern and welcoming facilities. It is also planned that it will be heated and cooled by geothermal energy and that a section of the roof will take the form of a green roof. The demolition of the existing recreation center building (60 Roosevelt Avenue) is included. TIMELINE: Request for proposals (RFP) is closed: RFP for architectural and engineering consulting services for the preparation of a Functional and technical program, Performance specifications, prequalification specifications and selection for the realization of plans, specifications and works in the framework of construction of a sports and community centre (including swimming pool) according to the design-build method. Reference number: 1735179. Proposals have been deposited and are under review. Further update in late summer, 2023.
