Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sunnyvale, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Removal and replacement of asphalt pavement section and related roadway work for Tripp Road, Jobson Road, and E. Town East Blvd within the Town of Sunnyvale. All questions concerning the project related to the specifications or details shall be submitted to the KSA Engineers by 2:00 PM Friday, June 30th, 2023. Questions shall be submitted via e-mail to acarrillo@ksaeng.com The existing pavement shall be pulverized/milled and blended into the base, to a depth of 14". This replaces the pay items that called for complete removal and disposal of existing asphalt on each road. added a pay item for proof rolling and repairing soft areas. A separate item has been added to quantify the amount of base repair estimated to be needed per road, per CY of TXDOT Item 247 Flexbase. Areas of repair will be identified in coordination with the Town Inspector. The intent of the roadway reconstruction is to match the existing elevation. This addendum just makes clear that approximately 6" of grading/hauling will be necessary to achieve this. This work is subsidiary to the Pulverization/Blending pay item.
