The project is per the attached Specifications. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform all the work required in strict accordance with the Washington State Department of Transportations current Standard and Specifications for Road Bridge and Municipal Construction. The following must be included with your bid: 1. Bid Proposal Form 2. Signed Non-collusion Affidavit Certificate 3. Acknowledgement of Receipt of Specifications 4. Certificate of Compliance with Wage Payment Statutes 5. Verification of Compliance with Required Training for Contractor and All Subcontractors If awarded the Bid, Contractor must have a current Small Works Roster application on file, comply with all Small Works Roster Laws, and prior to receiving Notice to Proceed contractor must provide the following: Insurance - Contractor shall provide, at their own expense, and showing the City of Lynden as additional insured, appropriate certificate of insurance liability coverage in amounts not less than: Two Million Dollars per occurrence / Two Million Dollars aggregate. Pay Prevailing Wages must be paid and documented. Performance Bond - 150% of Bid amount. Washington State Contractors License. Retainage percentage or retainage bond may be held. Satisfactory Record of Performance. Current Washington State Business License. A conditional or qualified BID will not be accepted. Award will be made to the lowest responsible Bidder. All applicable laws, ordinances, and the rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction over Construction of the project shall apply to the contract throughout. Each Bidder is responsible for inspecting the areas to be striped/painted, and for reading and being thoroughly familiar with the Bid Documents. The failure or omission of any Bidder to do any of the foregoing shall in no way relieve any Bidder from any obligation in respect to their Bid. The City of Lynden reserves the right to accept a proposal of the bidder submitting the lowest responsible bid, to reject any or all bids, to re-solicit the call for bids, to revise or cancel the work to be performed, or to do the work otherwise if the best interest of the City of Lynden is served thereby.
