Work of this Contract comprises the following: Decant the Labour Building and return building to base building standards in preparation for lease end and hand back to Landlord The scope of project includes all floors (Main floor to 10th), the basement, and storage rooms/areas Remove all furniture, filling cabinets, office supplies, photocopiers, fridge, dishwashers, stock in trade and other tangible office items Disassemble and remove systems furniture, office partitions and dividers, file shelves, shelves, and shelving units as instructed by the province Remove items remaining in the server room as directed. Remove data racks, UPS, IT, and electrical components Remove electrical components such as power pac-poles and other electrical appliances and components as instructed by the Province Ensure electrical work scope is handled by a qualified Journeyman Electrician and left in safe condition such that they will pose no harm, danger, or safety hazard to the building or persons Ensure all plumbing related work is completed by a qualified Journeyman Plumber Secure cables, IT and network cabling, and wiring as instructed by the Province Remove office, bulletin, and cork boards as instructed by the Province Make good of damages caused by the decanting process and removal of items Ensure each floor is left in "broom clean" and safe condition Items removed from the building will be taken to either GOA surplus or recycle programs. Items shall also be taken to other locations as instructed by the Province. Separate items for recycling and landfill Items will be appropriately labelled for move Work within the building regulations and rule of work authorisation/permit. Elevator, lobby and other shared areas must be kept clear and clean at all times Provide all materials, equipment, expertise, labour, and sub contractors required to completely decant the building and complete the workscope stated herein Arrange loading dock availability with Facility representative Limit items movement to designated delivery/moving elevator Always adhere to loading dock regulation. The loading dock is the only building entrance for large moves Always adhere to facility/building move-in/out procedures Award is subject to final approval.
