Reference Number: AB-2023-04152 The City of Calgary is looking for qualified proponents to perform various condition assessment-related tasks for the potable water transmission and distribution mains on an as-needed basis. The intention of this RFSO is to select multiple companies suitable for each task based on capabilities, qualifications, experience and references. Multiple projects will be awarded under this RFSO including pipe watermain research, condition assessment and leak detection capital programs. Data collected through the programs will be used to identify pipe condition defects, structural integrity and leakage locations, make capital investment decisions, prioritize maintenance and repair task forces, and proactively address failure locations that may result in service failures that would have been costly to address on a reactionary basis. This RFSO has four (4) categories representing the different forms of services required. Proponents may bid on all or only those categories they wish to pursue. The categories are as follows: Category A Condition Assessment Category B Monitoring of Pre-Stressed Concrete Pipe Category C Leak Detection Equipment / Services Category D Risk Profiling of Concrete Pressure Pipe C301 and C303 Proponents may apply for one or more specialized Categories. Provide separate sections in the proposal to address each Category your firm is interested in, clearly identifying that Category in the section title. The City is requesting proposals from proponents on each of the four separate but related pieces of work. The City reserves the right to award one or more categories of this proposal to one or more proponents. The City does not guarantee any specific inspection distance or number of hours for any component of this proposal; Consultants will be utilized on an "as required" basis.
