The work to be performed shall include, but is not limited to, testing, design development, schematic design, providing construction documents in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, municipal codes, etc., review of bids, consulting, negotiations involving specifications and blueprints, construction administration, and other professional services required to facilitate a procurement and implementation process in accordance with Texas Government Code 2269 and other applicable laws. The work will also include assisting with planning and cost estimating. Design and consulting services that provide a complete and total set of construction documents and specifications are required. Site visits, observations, and verification are requested during construction of each project. It is the desire of the District to have a representative on site during the implementation of all critical or high risk components, which may include but is not limited to structural components, roofing, MEP systems, and other critical or high risk components. Where applicable, the professional service firm shall also coordinate with municipal authorities and representing the District at required hearings. Phase I - Qualifications - This solicitation, its attachments, and additional clarifications or information arising out of this RFQ process will be used to select/prequalify providers of architectural, engineering, and related professional services on the basis of demonstrated competence and qualifications. Phase II - Contract Negotiations - If selected by the LISD Board of Trustees, the District may attempt to negotiate a contract with selected provider at a fair and reasonable price as described herein. 7/5/2023 10:00:00 AM (CT) Deadline for Questions This proposal may be awarded to one or multiple firm(s) as determined to be the best value to Lewisville Independent School District.
