Reference Number 0000250040 Question Acceptance Deadline 2023/06/21 03:00:00 PM MDT The Northwest Territories Power Corporation (“NTPC”) is requesting Proposals from qualified bidders (“Proponents”) to provide ‘As and When’ vegetation services for the mechanical control and removal of vegetation in and around NTPC properties and rights-of-way (ROWs). The required equipment and manual services may include, but are not limited to the following: a mulcher, hydro axe, feller buncher, bucket truck/or man lift, dump truck/or dump trailer, chainsaw/brush saw operators, and laborer’s. Work is to be conducted in the various NT communities throughout the territory. Bids for equipment shall include operators of said equipment and all submissions shall be based on a day rate. Vegetation mitigation is a necessary and ongoing component of providing a safe and reliable power service. This RFP is designed to involve local contractors and community members in the vegetation maintenance of NTPC properties, substations, and right of ways. This project is instrumental in the creation of a cyclical vegetation maintenance program and serves to promote investment of local contractors with an interest in providing equipment and labor, specific to the arborist trade.
